Brown Sugar Clinicians is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of licensed mental health professionals—including psychologists, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, and therapists—providing culturally responsive mental health services throughout Florida. Founded in 2024, we are dedicated to increasing access to quality mental health care for diverse and historically underserved communities across the state.
Supporting Clinicians Serving Diverse Populations
We support healthcare professionals dedicated to serving diverse communities through comprehensive professional development. Our programs include clinical supervision, peer consultation, continuing education training, professional networking opportunities, and capacity-building initiatives. This mentorship approach promotes sustainable practice and ensures high-quality care for all populations.
Accessible Mental Health Services
Access to mental health care remains limited for many communities. We're committed to changing that narrative. Our mental health services include free consultations and accept most insurance plans and EAP benefits. The BSC team includes licensed psychologists who provide comprehensive psychological testing, along with trauma-informed clinicians who specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and grief using evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
